AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Thursday condemned the attack targeting a tourist resort in Dohuk in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries among Iraqi civilians.
The ministry offered its condolences to the government and people of Iraq as well as the families of the victims, expressing wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The ministry affirmed the Kingdom's unwavering solidarity with Iraq, stressing its support towards all efforts exerted by Iraq to protect its security, stability and sovereignty. The Jordanian foreign ministry reaffirmed Iraq's security and stability are key to regional security and stability.
