AMMAN — Interior Minister Hussein Majali on Tuesday described the security situation in the Kingdom as “excellent”, attributing this primarily to the “wise leadership”, Jordanians’ awareness and the “vigilant security bodies”.
The minister made the remarks at a meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Saleh Al Duaij, during which he voiced the government’s keenness on assisting Kuwaitis and citizens of the Gulf states residing in Jordan.
The two officials also discussed means to enhance bilateral relations in all fields, especially security cooperation.
Duaij conveyed an invitation to Majali from Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Muhammad Al Khaled Al Sabah to visit the emirate for discussions.
