Jordan, Bahrain discuss military cooperation

AMMAN — King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben returned home on Monday following a short visit to Bahrain. During the visit, Zaben conveyed greetings from His Maj-esty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, to Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, ac-cording to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Za-ben also met with several Bahraini officials and senior officers, including Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sheikh Khalid Bin Ha-mad Al Khalifa, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, commander of the Bah-rain Defence Force (BDF), and Lt. Gen. Theyab Bin Saqr Al Nuami, chief of staff of the BDF. Discussions covered Jordanian-Bahraini mili-tary relations and means to develop them, ac-cording Petra.
