Jordan’s security a main attraction for investors — police chief

AMMAN — The Public Security Department’s procedures to maintain security and public order and equally apply the law are the most important factors in attracting investment to the Kingdom, PSD Director Gen. Tawfiq Tawalbeh said Monday.

During a meeting with Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) President Hamdi Tabbaa, Tawalbeh said that the PSD’s development process contributed to increasing the feeling of safety for investors and positively affected the national economy, according to a PSD statement sent to The Jordan Times.

Tabbaa called on all stakeholders to continue working on maintaining security to encourage foreign investment projects.
