AMMAN — Mohammad Hatamleh, the president of the Jordan Nurses and Midwives Association (JNMA), on Wednesday said that the syndicate suspended work at the Karak Public Hospital on Tuesday night following an alleged assault on a nurse and allegedly holding him captive within the hospital.
Hatamleh said that the “government’s negligence” towards the case will not deter the association from taking the necessary steps anytime a member of staff is attacked, even if it requires the staff to suspend work, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
