AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) has conducted a three-day workshop for the staff of Tafileh Radio and Karak Radio, within the framework of the EU-funded UNESCO programme for supporting media in Jordan, according to a JMI statement.
The workshop centred on the methodology to prepare and file high quality field reports, with a focus on the skills of writing on topical affairs in the form of news stories that are suitable for broadcasting, the statement said.
JMI is operating a training plan aimed at building the capacities of the staff of seven community radios taking part in the project “Building the Capacities of Local Radios”. Some 150 people are expected to benefit from the programme, the statement said.
