AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) and the Indian Institute of Mass Communication on Sunday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance educational and academic cooperation, according to a JMI statement.
The memo, signed during His Majesty King Abdullah's visit to India, aims to boost cooperation by conducting academic and scientific activities such as training courses, conferences, forums and lectures as well as initiating exchange programmes for students, faculty members and publications.
JMI Dean Basim Tweissi said that this step falls under the institute's current plan to connect with "distinguished educational and media training institutes ".
