JMI accepting applications for MA in Journalism and New Media

AMMAN — The Jordan Media Institute (JMI) announced the start of the master’s programme admission process for the academic year 2017-2018.

The MA in Journalism and New Media is awarded jointly by JMI and the University of Jordan, the institute said in a statement released on Monday.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the institute or online through JMI’s website (www.jmi.edu.jo), until July 6, 2017. JMI will offer 35 scholarships this year, both full and partial. Dean Basim Tweissi said that the master’s programme aims to produce professional and specialised journalists, according to the statement.
