AMMAN — The Jordan Investment Commission (JIC) adopts new promotion tools for investment that accord with the current circumstances, according to its chief. New promotion programmes will be carried out through surveys in cooperation with Jordanian diplomatic missions, social media, expatriates and by opening promotion offices abroad, JIC President Khalid Wazani said on Monday.
Wazani's remarks were made during a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding with the National Resources Investment and Development Corporation (Mawared) with the aim of enhancing cooperation on promoting investment opportunities, according to a JIC statement.
Mawared Director General Bassem Tulfah commended the JIC's efforts, its role in attracting new investments and empowering existing ones.
