AMMAN — A nationwide field inspection campaign targeting food and pharmaceutical facilities’ compliance with quality, health, and safety requirements kicked off on Monday.
Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) Director General Nizar Mhaidat ordered the formation of an inspection and control cell along with a special operations room to regulate and monitor field inspections to provide the required support if needed, according to a JFDA statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Mhaidat directed the inspectors to implement a zero-tolerance policy against violators, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
