AMMAN — The Royal Committee for Jerusalem Affairs on Saturday called for activating international laws and agreements concerned with prisoners to support the Palestinian people, “who all have become prisoners in Israeli prisons”.
The committee, on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoner's Day, annually celebrated on April 17, called for joining efforts to stop the occupation's crimes against Palestinians and stopping all illegal procedures against the Palestinian people, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The committee also praised the unaltered and fixed Jordanian position in supporting Palestinians regardless of the magnitude of sacrifices and prices.
Secretary General of the Committee Abdullah Kanaan said that "the only crime of Palestinian prisoners, from an Israeli point of view, is their calls to receive their historical and legitimate rights of territory and homeland".
