JDFA following up on reports of chocolate salmonella cases

AMMAN — The Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) on Saturday said it is following up on the issue of Mars chocolate products said to contain salmonella, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The JFDA has contacted the company to ensure that Jordan has not received any of the recalled products, investigated the main importers in the Kingdom and asked all health departments to test chocolate already in marketplaces, shopping malls, ports and duty free markets, stressing that no salmonella has been found.
