AMMAN — President of the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association (JCCA) Ayman Al Khudari on Saturday emphasised the ongoing cooperation with the Palestinian Contractors Union in various fields.

During a meeting with President of the Palestinian Contractors Union Aladdin Al Araj, who is on a visit to Amman, Khudari highlighted the JCCA's role in supporting the resilience of the Palestinians, thanks to the efforts of the Higher Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, in Jordan, composed of the JCCA, the Jordan Engineers Association  and the Jordan Investors Association (JIA), in cooperation with the Jordan chambers of industry and commerce.

The Higher Committee for Reconstruction in Palestine, in Jordan, under the umbrella of the Arab and International Organisation to Construct in Palestine, spared no effort to support the Gazans against the Israeli aggression, Khudari said.

Araj referred to the challenges facing the Palestinian construction sector, notably those related to the poor disbursement of financial payments to contractors and the lack of Palestinian workers, as well as the growing prices of raw materials, due to the Israeli occupation’s siege, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He also commended the pivotal role of Jordanian contractors in supporting the Palestinians in general and Palestinian contractors in particular.
