Japan donates four paramedic ambulances to CDD

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Monday received four fully equipped paramedic ambulances from the Japanese government within the framework of the “Improving Emergency Response Services for Syrian Refugees and Affected Jordanian Communities” project.

CDD Deputy Director Maj. Gen. Nasser Abu Baqar, Norimasa Yoshida, first secretary and head of economic section at the embassy of Japan, and Bana Kaloti, director and representative of the sub-regional operational Hub office in Amman, attended the handing over ceremony at the CDD, according to a statement released by the Japanese embassy.
