JAF thwarts 2 infiltration attempts

AMMAN — The Northern Military Zone has foiled two infiltration attempts from and into the Kingdom over the past 24 hours, a source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said on Saturday.

The rules of engagement were applied, leading to the arrest of the suspects, who were referred to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

JAF will apply "full force" to thwart any infiltration or smuggling attempts to protect the Kingdom's borders and citizens, the source stressed.
