JAF says explosions on northern border are engineering surveying experiments

AMMAN — An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said that posts on some social media sites about hearing explosions on the northern border are related to engineering surveying experiments being conducted on the other side of the northern border.

The source clarified that the Jordanian border areas are not affected by any danger that could threaten the security and safety of Jordanian citizens.

The General Command of the JAF urged citizens not to spread rumours that could cause concern among community members and to verify information through official sources.
