JAF, Russian military sign memorandum of cooperation

AMMAN — The General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and its Russian counterpart on Wednesday signed a memorandum of military technical cooperation.

Planning, Organisation, and Defence Resources Director at JAF Lt. Gen. Nassar Athamneh and Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Deputy Director Alexei Frolkin signed the agreement on behalf of the two countries’ armies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation, joint work and exchange of experiences in various military fields between the two countries. Senior JAF officers and the Russian ambassador in Amman attended the signing ceremony.
