JAF receives Czech medical aid for Gaza field hospitals

AMMAN — The Jordan Armed Forces–Arab Army (JAF), represented by the Royal Medical Services (RMS), on Thursday received a shipment of medical aid from the Czech Republic, including medicines and medical supplies for patients in the Gaza Strip.

The delivery ceremony was attended by the Assistant for Al Hussein Medical City Affairs and Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Kucerova. The shipment will be dispatched to Jordan’s field hospitals operating in Gaza, according to a JAF statement.

The Assistant for Al Hussein Medical City Affairs said that the delivery of this substantial shipment of medical and relief supplies reflects the strong ties and ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom and the Czech Republic.

He added that the aid will be sent to Jordan’s field hospitals in Gaza to help alleviate the suffering of Palestinians amid severe shortages of medical supplies, reaffirming the RMS’s commitment to its humanitarian duty and its ongoing efforts to provide essential medical support to the people of Gaza.

Ambassador Kucerova said the donation embodies the solidarity of the Czech people with the residents of Gaza and commended the JAF’s distinguished role in providing medical services through its field hospitals in the enclave.

The donation aims to support the humanitarian, relief, and medical efforts carried out by the Royal Medical Services to assist the injured and sick in Gaza, the statement read.
