AMMAN — Health Minister Saad Jaber and Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Haider Al Athari on Monday discussed means of enhancing health cooperation and anti-coronavirus measures.

Highlighting the two countries' “deep-rooted ties” in various fields, Jaber said that Iraqi patients in the Kingdom's hospitals receive the “same healthcare services offered to Jordanian citizens”.

For his part, the Iraqi envoy voiced appreciation for the Kingdom's efforts towards easing the reception of Iraqi medical tourists and residency-related measures.

The envoy also lauded the government's measures designated to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
