Issawi inaugurates school in Northern Badia established by Royal Initiative

AMMAN — Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, head of the follow-up committee for the implementation of Royal Initiatives, inaugurated on Sunday "Princess Basma Kindergarten" School in the Northern Badia in Mafraq governorate.
The school was set up in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives during a meeting with the governorate's leaders and dignitaries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The school was designed to accommodate about 1000 students, distributed in 26 classrooms from the kindergarten to the tenth grade and it includes computer, physics and biology labs, workshops and a theatre, in addition to a solar energy project.
Issawi said that his field visit to Mafraq governorate came as part of the ongoing check-up on projects Implemented under Royal initiatives projects, which contribute to Improving the quality of services provided to the governorate's residents in various fields, especially health and education.
He added that the establishment of the Princess Basma Kindergarten School was in accordance with the highest specifications and standards to improve the quality of education, especially in remote areas.
Minister of Education Azmi Mahafzah, who was present at the inauguration, highlighted the Royal Initiatives' contributions to enhancing the quality of education across the country.
