Issawi checks on Royal initiatives in Tafileh, Karak

AMMAN — Royal Court Secretary General Yousef Issawi on Sunday checked on a number of projects in Tafileh and Karak implemented under Royal initiatives.
Public Works Minister Sami Halaseh and several concerned officials accompanied Issawi on an inspection tour to check work on the Tafileh city centre development project, and the clothing factory expansion project also in Tafileh, implemented under a Royal makruma.
Halaseh said 60 per cent of the city centre development project has been completed so far.
The clothing factory, which already employs 300 women, will have an additional 250 vacancies for women after the expansion is completed.
Issawi also checked on the Karak Public Hospital expansion, which Health Minister Ali Hiasat said will be ready in two weeks to receive patients.
