Irbid governor instructs directorate to assist family who lost their home in fire

AMMAN — Irbid’s Governor Radwan Otoum on Monday directed the Social Development Directorate to provide assistance to a family whose house burnt down in Bait Ras Village in Irbid, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Otoum said that an investigation showed that the fire erupted from candles used to light their house, as they could not afford to pay the electricity bill. Otoum said that the household was granted emergency aid in addition to basic necessities.
