Irbid-Amman road to be closed Friday

AMMAN — The Irbid-Amman road will be closed between Friday 7am and Saturday 6pm, as a precautionary measure to allow authorities to remove rocks that recently fell on the road, Public Works and Housing Minister Sami Halaseh said on Thursday.

Visiting the site of the landslide near the Zarqa River in Jerash, Halaseh said the closure will be implemented in cooperation with the Central Traffic Department.
