Investment Ministry takes part in IsDB annual forum in Jeddah

AMMAN — The Ministry of Investment participated in the Private Sector Forum hosted by the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) from May 11 to 13 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. During the dialogue session, director of the promotion department at the Jordanian Investment Commission Bilal Hammouri presented the most important reforms to improve and enhance Jordan’s investment environment, particularly in tourism, agriculture and public-private partnership projects, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The forum shed light on the IsDB activities, services and initiatives in member countries, exploring investment and trade opportunities and promoting public-private partnership projects. Delegations from 57 countries participated in the forum, representing senior government officials, presidents and CEOs of local, regional and international private-sector companies, along with investors, businessmen, chambers of commerce and industry, trade and investment promotion bodies, and regional and international development institutions.
