Int@j ‘ready’ to amp up connectivity between Jordan, Ireland IT sectors — CEO

AMMAN — Jordanian IT companies have “promising investment and partnership opportunities” in Ireland, particularly as IT is a key area of investment there, according to the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (Int@j).

In a press release, Int@j said that Jordanian companies have “enjoyed a good reputation” in the Irish IT sector. During the Ireland Smart City and IoT Forum, held last week in the Irish capital Dublin, Irish companies praised the experience of Jordanian companies at meetings with Int@j CEO Nidal Bitar.

Bitar called on Irish companies to connect with their Jordanian counterparts and seek opportunities to collaborate, stressing that Int@j is “completely ready” to increase connectivity between the two countries via the Jordanian Ambassador to the UK Omar Nahar, Ireland’s Honorary Consul to Jordan Joe Geoghegan, the Ambassador of Ireland to Jordan Vincent O’Neill and parties involved in Enterprise Ireland, according to the press release.
