Interior minister talks region, ties with Qatari ambassador

AMMAN — Jordanian-Qatari ties are solid and evolving, Interior Minister Salameh Hammad said on Sunday.

During his meeting with Qatari Ambassador to Jordan Saud Bin Nasser Al Thani, Hammad said that the current regional climate requires an increased level of coordination and consultation, mainly in the security field.

Hammad also lauded Qatar's supportive stance towards Jordan in all international forums, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The Qatari diplomat, for his part, voiced his country's keenness to enhance bilateral relations with the Kingdom.
