AMMAN — Minister of Interior Mazen Farrayeh on Wednesday met with Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al Sabah and the accompanying delegation to discuss ways of enhancing security cooperation and developing joint training initiatives.
During the meeting, attended by Public Security Directorate (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah, Farrayeh highlighted the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait and commended the high level of security cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
He also stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation on issues of mutual interest between the Jordanian and Kuwaiti interior ministries and the security agencies of both countries, according to an Interior Ministry statement.
Sheikh Fahad expressed his commitment to expanding security cooperation and enhancing the exchange of expertise, noting that such efforts would open new avenues for collaboration between the two countries.
He also commended the strong bilateral ties between Jordan and Kuwait across various sectors.
