Interior minister checks on winter preparedness

AMMAN — Interior Minister Mazen Faraiah on Thursday stressed the need for enhancing coordination to increase winter preparedness.

Chairing a meeting of the Higher Council of Civil Defence (HCCD) at the Interior Ministry, Faraiah was acquainted with the precautionary measures taken to address the impact of harsh weather and emergency situations during winter.

Faraiah highlighted the importance of unifying efforts and scaling up cooperation to achieve integration at the national level to face any exceptional circumstances, crises and potential hazards, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
