‘Infiltrator killed on Syria border’

AMMAN — Border Guards on Wednesday foiled an attempt by three people to infiltrate Jordan from Syria, a military official said.

Troops followed the rules of engagement, and the shootout led to the death of one of the suspected infiltrators, the official said, adding that the other two fled back to Syria, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
