Infiltration attempt foiled at border — JAF

AMMAN — The Northern Military Zone on Wednesday foiled an attempt by a person to infiltrate Jordan from Syria.

A military source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) said that rules of engagement were applied and resulted in the arrest of the man who was referred to the concerned authorities, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The source added that the army will apply “full force” to thwart any infiltration or smuggling attempts to protect the Kingdom’s borders and citizens.
