Industry minister, Hungarian ambassador talk cooperation

AMMAN — Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yousef Shamali on Tuesday met with Hungary’s Ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

During the meeting, Shamali stressed Jordan's keenness to bolster cooperation with Hungary in all fields.

The two sides discussed increasing intra-regional trade under the umbrella of Jordan’s partnership with the EU.

They also reviewed preparations for holding the Jordanian-Hungarian Joint Economic Committee ministerial meetings scheduled in June, 2023.

Shamali and Kali focused on organising a joint Jordanian-Hungarian businessmen forum on the sidelines of the joint committee’s meetings to encourage the two countries’ private sector to increase the volume of trade and investment.
