Independent Election Commission to publish final voter lists on July 24

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission will publish the final voter lists on Wednesday, July 24, as part of the process to rectify the situation and approve the final voter lists

According to the detailed timetable for the 2024 Lower House elections, the publication of the lists is part of the phase to rectify the situation and approve and publish the final voter lists, the government-owned Al-Mamlaka TV, reported.

After publishing the lists, the preparation phase for candidacy will begin from July 25 to July 29, with the candidacy application period starting on July 30 and ending on July 29

The commission had previously published the preliminary voter lists on its website on June 2, by Article (4/Z) of the Lower House Election Law No. 4 of 2022, after receiving them from the Civil Status and Passports Department.

The Board of Commissioners of the Commission has set Tuesday, September 10, 2024, as the date for the elections.
