Iftar banquet held for inmates at Swaqa

AMMAN — The correctional and rehabilitation centres directorate on Tuesday held an iftar banquet for inmates at the Swaqa correctional centre and their families under the directives of Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Atef Saudi.

The initiative targeted prisoners of good conduct who were given the chance to feel at home with their families during the fasting month of Ramadan, according to a PSD statement sent to The Jordan Times.

The initiative will be applied in other correctional centres across the country, the statement said.
