IEC urges citizens to check voter lists

AMMAN — The Independent Elections Commission (IEC) on Saturday called on voters to check for their names in the preliminary voter lists.

IEC Spokesperson Jihad Momani said that list checking and contestations will run until the weekend. The IEC had received 3,910 contestations over personal information in the voter lists by Friday, Momani told the Jordan News Agency, Petra. Some 500,000 citizens have inquired about their information and election data so far, Petra reported.
