IEC trains committees on election procedures

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Thursday organised a training workshop to brief election committees in the southern region on the procedures of running for election.

Awwad Karadsheh, the general coordinator of elections at the IEC, said the workshop would train participants on election stages, and the requirements to apply for candidacy, in addition to the rights and duties of election observers, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
