IEC to address lists with similar names, slogans

AMMAN (JT) — The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Saturday finished verifying list names and slogans, said IEC Spokesperson Jihad Momani. The IEC will address lists with similar names and slogans, which violate election regulations, Momani noted.
He added that priority for names and slogans will be granted to lists whose members registered earlier, according to an IEC statement. The parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held on September 20.
