House speaker, Saudi ambassador talk parliamentary cooperation

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmed Safadi on Tuesday met with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Nayef Bin Bandar Al Sudairi over advancing bilateral relations, mainly in the parliamentary field.

Both sides stressed the "deep-rooted" nature of Jordanian-Saudi ties, highlighting the importance of maintaining communication and consultation to serve the interests of the two kingdoms. Following the meeting, Safadi, on behalf of the Chamber's members, congratulated the diplomat on his country's win against Argentina in the Qatar-hosted FIFA World Cup 2022, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
