House speaker phones MPs onboard Freedom Flotilla III

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Saturday phoned MPs Yihya Saud and Zakariya Sheikh who are onboard the Freedom Flotilla III in a bid to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

Tarawneh wished the MPs good luck on their humanitarian mission, calling on the international community to shoulder its responsibility towards the Palestinians and protect the flotilla, especially since the participants are unarmed.
