House speaker pays tribute to late minister, lawmaker

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh on Thursday paid tribute to Abdul Baqi Jammoh, who passed away on Wednesday.

Tarawneh offered his, and House members’, condolences for the Jammoh family, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Born in Zarqa in 1924, Jammoh served as a Lower House deputy several times, and was also minister for parliamentary affairs.
