House speaker, Hungarian ambassador discuss parliamentary ties

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Ahmad Safadi and Hungary's Ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali on Monday discussed various issues of mutual interest, particularly parliamentary relations between the two countries.

Safadi emphasised the importance of developing and enhancing bilateral relations and coordinating roles between the two countries, especially in parliamentary forums at the regional and international levels. He also highlighted the need to strengthen economic and trade cooperation mechanisms between the two nations. The Hungarian ambassador praised Jordan's role in addressing regional issues and pushing towards security and stability. He commended the Kingdom's efforts towards reform, noting that they have received widespread international acclaim.
