House panel requests information on suspected graft cases

AMMAN — The Lower House’s transparency committee on Wednesday asked the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) for details on suspected corruption cases it is investigating as well as those already referred to the judiciary.

The panel’s request was made during a meeting with ACC President Abed Kharabsheh, who pledged full cooperation with the House.

Panel members also asked the ACC for information on the authenticity of news reports on the burning of files and documents related to the Socio-Economic Transformation Programme.
