House panel endorses draft EMRC law

AMMAN — The Lower House Energy and Mineral Resources Committee on Sunday endorsed the draft Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) law.

MP Ali Khalaileh, the head of the panel, said committee members introduced amendments to the bill, in a way that serves the EMRC’s goals and achieves balance between the interests of consumers and investors in the sector, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
