House fire claims 80-year-old victim in Jerash

AMMAN — An 80-year-old man on Wednesday died from suffocation after a fire broke out in his home in the area of Majar, in Jerash, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The Civil Defence Department (CDD) said that its personnel had extinguished the flames and taken the body to the Jerash Governmental Hospital.
