Home buyers urged to benefit from exemptions

AMMAN — The Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) on Tuesday urged those who wish to buy small- and medium-sized apartments (up to 150 square metres) to benefit from the decision of the Council of Ministers on the exemption of registration fees.

The DLS started implementing the Cabinet’s decision from the beginning of the year and it will continue to be valid until November 30, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

According to the department’s figures, apartment sales rose by 7 per cent during the first quarter of this year compared with the same quarter of 2015.
