Hneifat, German deputy ambassador discuss use of renewable energy

AMMAN — Agriculture Minister Khaled Hneifat on Monday discussed the use of renewable energy in agriculture with the German Deputy Ambassador in Amman Ralf Schröer, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Discussions included ways for Jordan to take advantage of the German agriculture ministry’s expertise in using renewable energy, especially for small farmers, by training Jordanian specialists, as well as establishing labs and marketing centres to support women in rural areas. Hneifat and Schröer also discussed increasing the Kingdom’s exports to Germany.
