Hneifat, French ambassador talk sustainable agriculture

AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Khalid Hneifat on Thursday met French Ambassador to Jordan Alexis Le Cour Grandmaison to discuss cooperation between the two countries.

Hneifat highlighted the National Plan for Sustainable Agriculture and the importance of supporting agricultural guidance, marketing, food processing, water harvesting, agricultural lending and cooperative associations within paths that ensure their reflection on the agricultural sector, rural communities and women empowerment, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The French envoy also emphasised the depth of the Jordanian-French relations, and referred to the outcomes of the Baghdad-held meeting and ways to enhance cooperation in all fields.
