Hmoud, US chargé d’affaires discuss exchanging police expertise

AMMAN — Public Security Department (PSD) Director Maj. Gen. Fadel Hmoud and US Chargé d’Affaires Paul R. Malik on Sunday discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the security agencies of the two countries.
Hmoud said that the PSD is keen to further develop the performance of its personnel, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
For his part, Malik commended the “advanced level” reached by PSD, which has become a modern agency that keeps pace with developments of criminal methodologies. The diplomat also expressed keenness to increase cooperation and coordination in police and training fields.
