Higher Education Ministry opens video contest for non-Jordanian students

AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Wednesday launched a competition for foreign students studying in Jordan titled "Best Promotional Video about Jordan".
The challenge is open to non-Jordanian students enrolled in any higher education institution in Jordan, regardless of their specialisation or degree, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The video should last one to two minutes and should be educational and relate to Jordanian society, culture or tourism.
Students can create videos alone or in groups of no more than five students.
All students who want to take part must send the prepared video with their full name, university, specialisation, university degree and a copy of their passport via WhatsApp message to the number assigned to the Foreign Students' Affairs Unit (0781111185) no later than Thursday, November 16, 2023.
The ministry has allocated a cash prize of JD2,000 for the first place winner, JD1,500 for second place, and JD1,000 for third place.
