Higher education minister meets with Qatari cultural attaché

AMMAN — Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Walid Maani on Saturday met with Qatari Cultural Attaché Hamad Bin Abdullah to discuss numerous issues of mutual interest in the field of higher education.

The meeting touched on the increasing number of Qatari students attending Jordanian universities, due to their quality of education and the Kingdom’s security and stability, according to a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Maani stressed the necessity of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in scientific fields and mutual priority research programmes.
