Higher education minister meets Chadian counterpart

AMMAN — Higher Education Minister Adel Tweisi on Tuesday discussed bilateral relations with Chadian Secretary of State for Higher Education Hissein Massar Hisseine, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Tweisi briefed the Chadian minister on the higher education sector in the Kingdom and the plan to attract Arab and foreign students to enrol in education institutions during the years 2017-2020.

Tweisi called on the Chadians to send more students to Jordanian universities and said his ministry is ready to sign a memorandum of understanding to provide a number of scholarships for Chadian students in certain majors.
